Earlier this month, domestic smartphone maker Lava introduced its latest offering called the Lava Z71. Now, the company has quietly launched yet another Z series handset called the Lava Z53 in the country. The brand’s latest device has arrived as an entry-level offering with a waterdrop notch above the screen, minimal bezels on top and sides, and a dedicated button to trigger the Google Assistant. The Lava Z53 sports a gradient finish on the back. Unfortunately, the device doesn’t feature a fingerprint sensor, but it does offer face unlock functionality.
Lava Z53 specifications and features
The Lava Z53 comes with a 6.1-inch display of unknown resolution. The phone comes with an 8-megapixel primary camera on the back with a real-time bokeh effect. The main camera module with an LED flash unit is placed on the top-left corner on the back. For selfies and video calling purposes, the device comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the front, which is housed inside the waterdrop notch. Under the hood, the handset features a beefy 4,120mAh battery. The connectivity features are standard, including 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The company hasn’t yet revealed the remaining specifications of the Lava Z53.
Lava Z53 price in India
The Lava Z53 has been priced competitively at Rs 4,829, and will be available via major brick and mortar stores across the country soon. We can also expect the handset to be sold via e-commerce portals. The company is offering a cashback of Rs 1,200 for Jio users in the form of 24 discount coupons of Rs 50 on recharges of Rs 198 or Rs 299.
