Lenovo A7, a budget smartphone from the brand, was recently spotted on the Google Play Console by Pricebaba revealing key specifications of the handset. The listing revealed that the phone will be powered by an entry-level Unisoc SC9863A chipset, feature an HD+ display and more. Lenovo has now gone ahead and launched the handset in China. For the time being, the Lenovo A7 will be limited to China and some markets in the Middle East. The handset flaunts waterdrop display, dual cameras and removable battery as its highlights. Lenovo A7 specifications and features
The Lenovo A7 comes with a 6.09-inch waterdrop display, however, the company didn’t reveal the resolution. The Google Play Console however listed the resolution as HD+. Powering the phone is the affordable, entry-level Unisoc SC9863 processor. The SoC is an octa-core chipset housing eight ARM Cortex-A55 cores. The processor is further backed by PowerVR IMG8322 /GE8322 graphics. There’s no word on the RAM and storage configuration as of now.
Coming to the camera department, the Lenovo A7 features a dual-camera setup at the rear comprising of a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, there is a 5-megapixel camera embedded in the waterdrop notch on the front. The brand has announced that the dual-camera setup on the rear is backed by AI intelligent scene recognition, which can recognise up to 12 scenes.
Lenovo A7 pricing and availability
Unfortunately, there’s no word on the pricing and availability of the Lenovo A7 yet. Moreover, it remains unknown whether Lenovo plans to launch the handset in India or not. We should know more details in the coming days, so stay tuned.
