Lenovo Carme smartwatch with 24-hour heart rate monitor launched for Rs 3,499

Last week, we reported that Lenovo would launch a new smartwatch in India. Now the company has debuted the device dubbed as the Lenovo Carme. The smartwatch carries a price tag of Rs 3,499 and can be purchased from Croma and Flipkart starting 15th September.

Specs and Features:

The Lenovo Carme smartwatch features a 1.3-inch IPS colour display in a square shape. There is 2.5D curved glass on the top. The device is IP68 rated water and dustproof. The Lenovo Carme can be availed in two colour options – Black and Green. 

Coming to the health-centric features, the Lenovo Carme is equipped with a 24-hour heart-rate sensor. It comes with a sleep monitor and a pedometer to track sleep analysis and the number of steps taken. The device offers 8 sports modes including skipping, badminton, basketball, football, swimming, walking, running and cycling. The smartwatch also offers other fitness functions like calorie counting, pedometer, motion tracking, exercise tracking and sedentary reminder. 

The Lenovo Carme is also capable of displaying notifications for emails, text messages, calls, and other social media apps. It comes with a weather forecast, alarm, reminder, stopwatch, calendar and search for phone feature. The Lenovo Carme is compatible with iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth v4.2. The smartwatch is claimed to deliver up to 7 days of battery life on a single charge and it can be refueled via a USB cable.
