Alongside the launch of the Lenovo S5 Pro, the Chinese technology company also announced two new devices i.e. K5 Pro and K5s. The K5 Pro is an upgraded variant of the K5 launched in June this year. The K5s is a budget friendly device. Let’s find out the technical specifications of both devices:
Lenovo K5 Pro:
The Lenovo K5 Pro expands the company’s K-series portfolio. On the front, the device comes with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Design-wise, it features a metallic chassis. There is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear side. The device is available in Style Black and Elegant Gold color options.
On the camera front, the Lenovo K5 Pro sports dual sensors on the front and back. Both feature 16MP+5MP dual snappers. The camera offers features like blurring effect, night scene, HDR and professional mode.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with up to 6GB RAM. It offers up to 128GB internal memory. The K5 Pro is backed by a 4,050 mAh battery unit and supports fast charging. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo with ZUI 5.0 layered on top.
The K5s is a toned down variant of K5 Pro. It sports a dual side glass design as compared to the K5 Pro. The device features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a HD+ resolution. The Lenovo K5s ships in Gothic Black and Greek Blue color variants.
In terms of optics, the Lenovo K5s also sports dual cameras on front and rear. But the camera setup comprises of a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The selfie cameras come in the same configuration.
Under the hood, the K5s is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. It packs 4GB RAM and offers 32GB internal storage. A 3,000 mAh battery is fitted inside with support for fast charging. The device is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo based ZUI 5.0.
Pricing & Availability:
The 4GB RAM+64GB storage option of the Lenovo K5 Pro costs 998 Yuan. The 6GB+64GB is priced at 1,098 Yuan while the higher 6GB+128GB model retails at 1,298 Yuan. The Lenovo K5s costs 798 Yuan.
As for availability, both the devices are up for pre-order in China. The K5 Pro will go on sale from October 25th, whereas the K5s will be available for purchase from October 23rd in China.
