Chinese handset makers Lenovo today launched the Phab 2 Plus in India. It was already known that the company will launch the Phab 2 Plus in India on November 8th. Initially, this product was announced globally in June this year. Despite that, Lenovo took some time to deliver the Phab 2 in the Indian market. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus falls under the phablet category featuring 6.4-inch Full HD IPS screen. There is also a 2.5D Curved Glass on top. Powering this device is an octa-core MediaTek MTK 8783 processor. Assisting the processor is 3GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. Under the hood, it has 32GB internal storage that is expandable further up to 128GB with the help of microSD card. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus houses a 13-megapixel dual camera on the back with a Dual-LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), and f/2.0 aperture. It also offers an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for all the selfie lovers out there.
This is a Dual-SIM phablet with one micro-SIM and one nano-SIM card slot. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box. There is also a fingerprint scanner placed on the rear side which sits right below the camera module. This is a 4G VoLTE-enabled device which makes it possible for users to take a full advantage of Reliance Jio. Other supported connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, and microUSB. It also comes with a standard set of supported sensors such as gyro, accelerometer, proximity, and compass. What completes the package is 4,050 battery.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus comes in two colour options — Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey. It is available to purchase exclusively from Amazon for Rs 14,999.
