Lenovo has finally launched the world’s first Project Tango-enabled smartphone dubbed Lenovo Phab 2 Pro in India. It is also the first Project Tango phone to make it to the Indian market. Coming back to Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, the device is priced at Rs 29,990 and will be available to purchase exclusively on Flipkart starting tonight alongside an exchange offer.
As far as specs go, Lenovo Phab 2 Pro comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) display with 2.5D curved screen layered on top. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core Snapdragon 652 chip clocked at 1.8GHz, combined with 4GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. It has 64GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone has a hybrid dual-SIM slot, so that you can add up to two Nano SIM cards or at least one memory card at a time. Running inside is Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Lenovo Phab 2 Pro houses a 16MP rear snapper with PDAF, depth tracking and motion tracking sensor for Tango. Up front is a 8MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies. It is based on Dolby Atmos surround sound technology with 5.1 audio capture. In addition, it also features triple array microphones with active noise cancellation. The phone is backed by 4G LTE, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It packs in a 4,050mAh battery with fast charging support under the hood. Design wise, it flaunts a metal unibody design measuring 88.57 x 179.83 x 6.98-10.7mm and weighing 259g.
