Lenovo Tab V7 with 7-inch Display And Iris Recognition launched In India: Price, Specifications

Lenovo has launched a new affordable tablet called the Tab V7. The offering is equipped with Iris Recognition technology which can be used in applications like e-banking and government services.

Lenovo Tab V7: Specifications and features

The Lenovo Tab V7 sports a 6.9-inch IPS LCD Full HD display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. There are visible bezels on all four sides as it comes with an 81 percent screen-to-body ratio. It features Dolby Audio speakers and a physical fingerprint sensor on the back. The tablet also plays host to a Face Recognition feature for additional security.

In terms of performance, the Lenovo Tab V7 relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The internal storage can be expanded by up to 128GB via a microSD card. A 13MP snapper is placed on the back while a 5MP sensor clicks selfies and supports bokeh shots. The camera set up is capable of clicking HDR pictures with Night Shot and Panorama Mode features.

The tablet depends on a 5,180mAh battery unit which can reportedly provide up to 30 hours of talk time. Additionally, the Lenovo Tab V7 also supports 4G VoLTE and can provide up to 10 hours of video playback and browsing time. With a 7.89 mm thickness and a weight of 195 grams, the tablet is expected to be light-weight.

Lenovo Tab V7: Price and availability

The Lenovo Tab V7 will start selling from August 1st on Flipkart. After that, the device will also become available on Lenovo’s official website, Amazon, Vijay Sales, Croma and Reliance Digital stores. It has launched with a price tag of Rs 12,990 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs 14,990 for the 4GB RAM version.
