Lenovo has unveiled three new laptops in its ThinkPad lineup. The new devices are the ThinkPad T495, T495s, and ThinkPad X395. The latest laptops are powered by the second gen AMD Ryzen 7 Pro processor along with integrated graphics. Let’s take a look at the technical specifications below:
The ThinkPad 495 and 495s feature a 14-inch display with a peak brightness of 400 nits and AMD FreeSnyc support for a better gaming experience. The former is available in FHD and HD display resolutions with less brightness output, while the later does not offer an HD screen variant. The ThinkPad X395 packs a smaller 13.3-inch display offered in HD and FHD display choices.
Under the hood, all the latest ThinkPad machines are equipped with second gen AMD Ryzen 7 Pro mobile chipset integrated with AMD Radeon Vega graphics. The T495 packs up to 32GB of LPDDR4 RAM while the T495s and X395 come with a lower 16GB LPDDR4 RAM. In terms of storage, the former is offered in configurations up to 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. The ThinkPad T495s and X395 offer up to 1TB of PCIe or 256GB of SATA SSD storage.
The ThinkPad T495 packs a 50Whr battery. The T495s and X395 are powered by 57Whr and 48Whr batteries respectively. All the machines support RapidCharge technology with a 65W Type-C charger. Connectivity-wise, the laptops come with a host of options including Bluetooth 5.0, dual-channel W-iFi, one USB Type-A 3.1 Gen1 and Gen2, HDMI 2.0, RJ45, microSD card reader, audio jack, and two USB Type-C Gen2 ports.
Other common features on the T-series include a fingerprint sensor, IR camera, Dolby Audio premium, and 360-degree far-field microphones.
Pricing & Availability:
The ThinkPad T495 carries a starting price of $393 (~Rs 69,000) and will be available from this month. Both the T495s & X395 will retail at $1,089 (~Rs 76,000) and will be up for grabs in June in the US.
