Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola has been launched at the CES 2023 tech event. It is a flagship phone made by Motorola that resembles a Lenovo ThinkPad notebook, which comes with several security and productivity features. The Moto KeySafe processor adds a layer of security for storing sensitive data like passwords, PIN numbers, cryptographic keys, and more.

The Lenovo ThinkPhone comes preloaded with apps like Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams. It is also equipped with the ThinkShield security platform to protect user data. ThinkPhone has the Think 2 Think feature, for seamlessly connecting the phone with a PC over Wi-Fi. Once connected, users can transfer files, view notifications, open Android apps, and use the camera as a webcam. There is Moto Device Manager (aka OEMConfig), which can be used by IT administrators to remotely configure the smartphone for business clients. The Lenovo ThinkPhone measures 158.76 x 74.38 x 8.26mm and weighs around 188.5 grams. It is a MIL-STD-810-certified device, which means it can withstand extreme conditions. The front side of the device is shielded by Gorilla Glass Victus. It has an aircraft-grade aluminium frame and aramid fibre rear shell. In addition, it is an IP68-rated dustproof and water-resistant device.

The ThinkPhone has a 6.6-inch pOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset powers the device with 8GB / 12GB of RAM, and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB of storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The triple camera unit on the back is headlined by an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF support. It is assisted by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens.

The ThinkPhone has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device runs on Android 13 OS with the My UX skin on top. It offers other features, such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port.

The Lenovo ThinkPhone is headed to the US, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia, and select countries in Asia in the coming months. The company has yet to confirm the price and availability of the ThinkPhone.
