Lenovo unveils brand new lineup of Legion and Yoga series laptops: Price, availability


  • Lenovo is targeting the high-end gaming laptop market with its new offerings
  • The IdeaPad Gaming 3i, is an entry-level gaming notebook with high-end graphics

Lenovo has unveiled the new Yoga lineup of laptops, along with the world’s “most mobile 16-inch gaming laptop,” the Legion Slim 7i. The company is also releasing six other laptops, namely the Legion 5i, Legion 5i Pro, the IdeaPad Gaming 3i, Yoga 9i, Yoga Slim 7i Pro, and the Yoga 7i. All seven notebooks feature Intel’s 12th-gen Core processors complemented by improved graphics and a sustainable design.

“Our new range of Legion gaming laptops brings unyielding play to gamers across generations and our range of Yoga laptops are packed with pure performance with powerful mobility, improved ergonomics, durable style, and enhanced features. It’s time for gamers and content creators to be at the pinnacle of their performance,” said Dinesh Nair, Director – Consumer Business, Lenovo India.

The Lenovo Yoga 9i boasts of a 16:10 OLED display paired with a 2.5K resolution, with TÜV low blue light eye protection. Lenovo’s Yoga series also has the advantage of being among the slimmest laptops in its class.

The likes of the Legion 5i and the 5i Pro are built with heat dissipation in mind. This allows gamers to continue playing without fear of overheating. Additionally, the Legion 5 series comes with an 80Wh battery, which can go from 0% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

As a bonus, buyers of all Lenovo laptops also get three months of Xbox Game Pass for free, enabling users to jump into more than 100 PC games with their new Lenovo notebook.

Availability, Pricing, and More

The three Yoga-series laptops — the Yoga 9i, Yoga 7i, and Yoga Slim 7i Pro — will be available for Rs 1,69,990, Rs 1,14,990, and Rs 1,69,990. Meanwhile, the Legion Slim 7i, Legion 5i, and the Legion 5i Pro, will cost Rs 1,50,990, Rs 1,44,990, and Rs 1,64,990. Lastly, Lenovo will sell the IdeaPad Gaming 3i laptop with a starting price of Rs 84,990, making it the cheapest among the seven new laptops unveiled by the manufacturer.

All models will go up on pre-order starting July 13 and should reach customers a week or so later. Lenovo confirmed that the new laptops will also be available via e-commerce sites. Notably, the laptops will be a part of Amazon’s annual Prime Day sale on July 23.
