Lenovo has launched four new tablets in China. These include the Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro, Pad Pro 2021, Pad Plus and Pad Plus 11. The first two in the lineup are flagship offerings while the other two arrive as affordable tablets.
All the new four devices announced by Lenovo are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors. The tablets also share a few specifications with each other. Let’s take a look at what the tablets offer out of the box.
Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro and Pad Pro 2021 specifications and features
Beginning with the Yoga Pad Pro, the device sports a 13-inch LCD display bearing a resolution of 2,160 x 1,350 pixels. It offers 400 nits peak brightness and comes with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. There is a metal handle on the back that enables the user to use the device in various form factors.
On the other hand, the Lenovo Pad Pro 2021 comes with an 11.5-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, DC Dimming, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support.
In terms of audio, both the Yoga Pad Pro and Pad Pro 2021 are equipped with four JBL speakers with Dolby Audio support producing up to 9W sound output. On the camera front, both tablets come with an 8MP front shooter paired with a 3D ToF sensor. The Yoga Pad Pro lacks rear cameras while the Pad Pro 2021 features 13MP + 5MP sensors.
Under the hood, the Yoga Pad Pro and Pad Pro 2021 are powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor. The devices are offered in 8GB + 256GB and 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage configurations respectively. The former is backed by a 10,200mAh battery while the latter runs on an 8,600mAh battery unit with support for Quick Charge 3.
Connectivity options on the Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro and Pad Pro 2021 include a USB-C port, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.
Lenovo Pad Plus and Pad Plus 11 specifications and features
The Lenovo Pad Plus and Pad Plus 11 are the company’s affordable offerings. Both devices feature an 11-inch LCD panel bearing a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. There is a 13MP single camera on the rear while the front houses an 8MP and a ToF sensor. Both tablets are equipped with a 4W quad-speaker system powered by JBL.
The Lenovo Pad Plus 11 and Pad Plus are differentiated in terms of internal hardware. The former houses a Snapdragon 750G processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The latter is equipped with a Snapdragon 662 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Both tablets are fueled with 7,700mAh battery life with Quick Charge 3.0 support via USB-C port.
The Lenovo Pad Plus and Pad Plus 11 come with an IP52 rating and feature WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.
Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro, Pad Pro 2021, Pad Plus 11 and Pad Plus pricing and availability
The Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro is priced at RMB 3,300 (~Rs 37,500) while the Pad Pro 2021 costs RMB 2,500 (~Rs 28,400). The Pad Plus 11 and Pad Plus carry a price tag of RMB 1,600 (~Rs 18,200) and RMB 1,100 (~Rs 12,500) respectively. All four devices will go on sale in China from May 31st.
