On: April 27, 2017

Good news for all the folks out there who owns a Lenovo Z2 Plus. The company has finally started rolling out the Android Nougat update for the device in India. The latest update carries the build numbers ZUI 2.5.104 and weighs around 995.75MB.

The latest update brings a bunch of new features and fixes the minor bugs. It is recommended to keep your phone’s battery at 30% charge at least before proceeding with the update process. Android Nougat brings you entirely new set emojis, ability to use two or more languages at the same time, and lets you run two apps side by side. The update also brings one of the most famous features of Nougat – Doze. It’s a set of changes which Google made with the latest version of Android that will put your phone to sleep when it’s idle. Thus saving the precious juice from your battery. Apart from these, the Nougat update also brings Customised Quick Settings, Notification Direct Reply, Bundled notifications, File-based encryption and many more features.

To recall, the Lenovo Z2 Plus was launched in India in September last year. It sports a 5-inch 1080p display with Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB RAM and internal storage variants. The phone houses a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. Up front, it flaunts an 8MP snapper for video calling and selfies. It packs in a 3500mAh battery clubbed with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
