It has been a week since Lenovo India has been extensively pushing teasers of its upcoming phone — the Lenovo Z2 Plus. From what we have learned so far it’s the Lenovo Zuk 2, which is re-branding as the Lenovo Z2 Plus in India. The company’s social media accounts are already engulfed with a number of teasers and promos, confirming the arrival of the Lenovo Z2 Plus. However, it seems the Lenovo has dropped the Zuk branding in India.
We have gone through most of the teasers and promos, which are full of words and phrases like “Incredible Power,” “Power to Shape,” “Stronger,” “Lighter,” “More Mettle Than Metal,” and so on. We think Lenovo may have possibly figured out what users are expecting out of its high-end smartphones lineup, or at least that is what the company is trying to claim.
The Lenovo Z2 Plus is a Dual SIM phone, which sports a 5-inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 441 PPI. The device is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 chipset clocked at 2.15GHz speed and Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage, which is not expandable since the phone doesn’t have a memory card slot.
The phone houses a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and LED flash. At the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The VoLTE-supported Lenovo Z2 Plus packs in a 3500 mAh battery. We have to wait for the final price and availability details since the device is yet to launch in India.
