Earlier this week, Lenovo sent out save the date invites for a launch event scheduled on September 5th in India. The company did not reveal the name of the upcoming devices at that time, but only mentioned that a ‘Killer Note’ would be launched, leading us to speculate it would be the K10 Note. Now in the latest media invite, Lenovo has confirmed that it will be launching not one, but three smartphones, namely the Lenovo Z6 Pro, Lenovo K10 Note, and Lenovo A6 Note.
Beginning with the Z6 Pro, the smartphone was launched in April this year in China, and comes with flagship-level specifications. The device features a 6.39-inch S-AMOLED display bearing FHD+ resolution with a waterdrop notch on top and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The display supports HDR 10, DCI-P3 color gamut, full-range DC dimming, and a blue light filter. The Z6 Pro flaunts a 4D curved glass back and a metallic frame.
The Z6 Pro sports a quad-camera setup comprising of a 48MP main sensor, 125-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, 8MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP super video camera. Up front, the device is fitted with a 48MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood, the Lenovo Z6 Pro houses the flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset. The device is offered in four RAM and storage configurations in China, with up to 8GB and 512GB respectively. It is equipped with PC-grade liquid cooling technology for heat dissipation. A 4,000mAh battery with 27W rapid charging keeps the Z6 Pro running. It also comes with a reverse charging feature.
Alongside the Z6 Pro, Lenovo will also be expanding its Note series with the K10 Note and A6 Note. The former is expected to be the successor to last year’s K9 Note while the latter will be an upgraded variant of the A5.
According to speculations, the Lenovo K10 Note could be a rebranded version of the Z6 Youth edition. If reports are correct, the device could come with a 6.3-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The K10 Note is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 730 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The invite reveals the presence of a triple rear camera unit, that may consist of 16MP, 8MP, and 5MP sensors and a 16MP front shooter. A rear-mounted fingerprint scanner can also be seen in the image. A 4,050mAh battery and Android 9 Pie are also likely.
Coming to the Lenovo A6 Note, the device is expected to be a budget offering similar to its predecessor. However, the invite image reveals that the smartphone will come with a dual-camera setup on the back and a waterdrop notch. According to a Geekbench listing, the A6 Note will be powered by a Helio P22 chipset with 3GB RAM. The rest of the specifications are unknown.
The Lenovo A6 Note could be priced under a sub-Rs 10,000 price segment. The K10 Note is rumored to cost Rs 11,000 which is the same as Z6 Youth Edition in China. The flagship Z6 Pro is expected to carry a starting price tag of around Rs 30,000.
