Lenovo has launched a toned-down variant of the Z6 Pro in its home country today. The device is dubbed as the Z6 Youth Edition. The Z6 Pro was a flagship handset launched in April this year. Let’s take a look at the Youth Edition below:
The Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition features a 6.39-inch display bearing FHD+ resolution and waterdrop notch on the top. It comes with HDR 10 support as well. The device offers a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio. On the audio front, the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition is equipped with a Dolby Atmos speaker. The device can be availed in two colour options – Knight Black and Symphony Stardust. The latter comes with gold accents around the rear camera setup and fingerprint scanner
On the imaging front, the Z6 Youth Edition sports a triple rear camera setup consisting of 16MP primary sensor, 8MP telephoto lens and a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens. The camera is backed by AI capabilities that aid in taking better pictures. A 16MP shooter is fitted on the front for clicking selfies.
In terms of hardware, the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition is equipped with a Snapdragon 710 chipset. The device is offered in three configurations i.e. 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Software-wise, it runs ZUI 11 out of the box. The Z6 Youth Edition is backed by a 4,050mAh battery unit with support for 15W charging.
On the connectivity front, the Z6 Youth Edition comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port and dual hybrid SIM card slots. It also comes with dual-frequency GPS for accurate location tracking,
Pricing & Availability:
The base variant of Z6 Youth Edition has been priced at 1,099 Yuan (~Rs 11,095). The 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants carry a price tag of 1,399 Yuan (~Rs 14,123) and 1,699 Yuan (~Rs 17,149) respectively. The devices are up for reservations on Lenovo’s official website and e-commerce sites JD.com, TMall and Suning with sales commencing from May 28th.
