LG recently launched its W Series smartphones in India and now, the company is gearing up for its next big launch. LG has sent press invites for an event scheduled in India on July 10th. The invite doesn’t reveal any details and simply says “Witness the Wonder of AI.” However, we expect the brand to to launch AI-powered smart TVs at the event.
The TVs in question are likely to be part of LG’s flagship range of ThinQ AI models unveiled ahead of CES this year. They include the C9, E9, W9 and Z9 OLED TVs, as well as the company’s NanoCell TVs range.
The TVs backed by AI picture and sound quality and rely on the second-generation α9 intelligent processor which is further aided by deep learning technology. The TV is capable of 4K and 8K playback while being able to facilitate loseless audio data transfer. LG claims that the AI engine is designed to analyse the content source and offer the best upscaling method and resolution.
Other features on LG’s 2019 TV lineup include Amazon Alexa Voice and Google Assistant support. That apart, LG has also redesigned its user interface for easier navigation and the TV’s come with 120Hz refresh rates.
We only have a week left for the official launch date, stay tuned for the latest news about LG’s new AI TV lineup in India.
