LG has unveiled the LG G Pad III 10.1 FHD LTE which is a successor of the earlier LG G Pad II 10.1. As the name suggests, LG’s latest tablet comes with support for 4G LTE network as well as Full HD resolution. It’s a bigger variant of G Pad III 8.0 that was launched in May, which according to the company is suitable for taking online classes and reading.
In terms of specifications of the LG G Pad III 10.1 LTE, it features a 10.1-inch display with a 1920 x 1200 pixels WUXGA (Wide Ultra XGA) resolution. It is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. It comes with an internal storage of 32GB which can further be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. It bundles a kick stand which holds the massive screen.
The device has a ‘Times Square’ user experience (UX), which can be used as a digital frame, tabletop calendar or desk clock. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, the LG G Pad III 10.1 LTE houses a 5-megapixel primary camera on the back. It also includes a 5-megapixel secondary camera for selfies. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C. At last, a 6000mAh battery completes the package.
Available in a black colour option, the LG G Pad III 10.1 LTE comes at a price of 429,000 South Korean Won (approximately Rs 24,535). The device will go on sale in Korea starting today. LG also has plans to release the G Pad III 10.1 with a stylus pen in Q1 2017.
