LG IoT-enabled Ceiling Fan with Alexa support launched for Rs 16,990

LG has introduced the IoT enabled Ceiling Fan in the Indian market today. The brand had launched a smart fan with an LED display back in May, and the new model is equipped with Dual Wing fan-blades.

LG IoT enabled Ceiling Fan: specifications and features

The fan comes with a 40 pole inverter motor which reportedly helps in increasing the durability and performance of the product. The dual wing fan-blades provide room-wide coverage while reducing up to 22 percent of turbulence, says LG. The wings produce under 49dB of noise for a quieter environment. Just like the LG smart fan, this product also features an LED display.

The fan also houses Smart ThinQ technology using which consumers can diagnose troubles through a mobile application. A remote control is also provided in the package using which consumers can access the Wi-Fi, set timers, adjust speed, switch on the sleep mode and mosquito away mode. The fan is the first in India to have a mosquito away mode using ultrasonic sound waves. The sleep mode, on the other hand, adjusts the speed automatically. The product is also laced with Amazon Alexa support.
