LG has finally unveiled the new Q6 series of smartphones comprising Q6, Q6 Plus, and Q6a. Although the Q6 was already making great even before its launch, the other two smartphones came as surprise to us. To remind you, the LG Q6 is the same which was earlier claimed to named LG G6 Mini.
All three smartphones put on a 5.5-inch Full HD display offering extra real state with a virtually bezel-less screen. The display resolution scores 2,160 x 1920 pixels, thanks to LG’s FullVision display. With the launch of Q6 lineup, LG has finally brought the 18:9 display to the mid-range smartphones. Previously, only the flagship devices like LG G6, Galaxy S8, and S8 Plus featured a display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
All of these three smartphones get the same design, looks and even the same footprint. The only difference between the devices is in terms of RAM and internal storage. The LG Q6+ gets 4GB of RAM, the LG Q6 gets 3GB RAM, and the Q6a gets 2GB of RAM. The whole lineup draws the power from an octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset.
For shutterbugs, the Q6 lineup sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens front camera. the smartphones packs in a 3,000mAh battery and runs the latest Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. The colour options available for the Q6+ are Astro Black, Ice Platinum, and Marine Blue. For Q6, the options are Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White, and Terra Gold. Whereas for the Q6a, the options are Astro Black, Ice Platinum, and Terra Gold.
The pricing of the lineup is not announced yet. The company has, however, revealed that the Q6-series smartphones will launch in the key markets of Asia, Europe, and North America in next month.
