Yesterday LG announced the LG Stylo 6 smartphone in the US. The South Korean brand has now launched a new device in the Q-series dubbed as the LG Q61. It is currently available in its home market. LG had released the Q51 in February this year. The brand’s latest offering arrives with upgraded specifications. The LG Q61 is a rebranded version of the LG K61 that was announced for European markets. The LG Q61 packs features like a punch-hole display, Google Assistant button and military-grade durability. LG Q61 specifications and features
The LG Q61 features a 6.51-inch display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole camera cutout at the top left corner. There is a thick chin at the bottom of the device. The smartphone is equipped with MIL-STD -810G military standard. There is a dedicated Google Assistant button on the right side while the power and volume buttons are located on the left side. In terms of audio, the LG Q61 features a DTS:X 3D Surround Sound.
The LG Q61 houses a quad-rear camera module stacked horizontally on the back with a fingerprint scanner located below it. The camera setup comprises of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro sensor and a 5MP depth shooter. The device features a 16MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood, the LG Q61 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It packs 4GB RAM and offers 64GB internal storage expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card slot. The smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit. It runs on Android 10 OS out of the box. The device offers connectivity options like 3.5mm jack, USB-C port, dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and GPS.
LG Q61 pricing and availability
The LG Q61 is available in White colour. It carries a price tag of 369,600 Won (~Rs 18,757) and will be available for purchase in South Korea from May 29th. There’s no word on India availability yet.
