South Korean brand LG has launched a new smartphone in the US under its mid-range Stylo series. The LG Stylo 6 is the successor to the LG Stylo 5 launched last year. The latest device arrives with significant upgrades compared to its predecessor. As the name suggests, the smartphone’s main feature is its capacitive stylus, for which it houses a dedicated slot.
Compared to Stylo 5, the latest offering features a bigger display, better hardware and upgraded cameras. The Stylo 6 sports a triple rear camera setup and fast charging support. Let’s find out what this device offers out of the box,

The LG Stylo 6 features a 6.8-inch screen bearing FHD+ resolution and a U-shape waterdrop notch on the top. The display is surrounded by thick bezels on all the sides. The device features a dedicated Google Assistant button on the right side while the volume rocker and power buttons are located on the left. Compared to last year’s Stylo 5, the latest offering features a gradient back panel. It houses a horizontal camera setup in the centre and a fingerprint scanner below. The triple camera module comprises a 13MP main shooter, 5MP ultrawide lens and a depth sensor. The device features a 13MP selfie camera.
Internally, the LG Stylo 6 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It packs 3GB RAM and offers 64GB onboard storage, expandable via a microSD card. The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with support for fast charging via a USB-C port. On the software front, the Stylo 6 runs Android 10 out of the box. Lastly, the smartphone comes with a capacitive stylus that lets users jot down notes. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and 3.5mm jack.

The LG Stylo 6 is priced at $219 (~Rs 16,600) in the US. At this point, we don’t know if the phone will be made available in other markets.
