A couple of weeks ago, LG had teased the launch of W series smartphone in India. Now, the upcoming smartphone has been spotted with the LG W10 moniker and specifications on the Android Enterprise website. That being said, the LG W10 is yet to be launched officially and thats the reason price is still kept under the wraps.
According to the listing, the LG W10 will come equipped with a 6.2-inch display and will be running Android Pie on the software front. The processor details are not revealed, however, the listing does mention 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Also present is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
NashVilleChatterClass was the first one to spot the listing. However, he suggested that the phone pictured alongside the specifications is not the LG W10. In other words, it might just be a placeholder image that will be replaced once the actual device is launched.
The LG W10 is expected to come equipped with triple rear camera setup and will be sold on Amazon India. The LG W Series comes with a glass-sandwich design and a waterdrop-style notch display. The micro-site on Amazon says that users will be able to change the shape of the notch and completely disable it completely if they prefer. The previous teaser talked about a triple rear camera setup that is advertised to maximise the photography experience.
LG’s upcoming W-series smartphone will carry an affordable price tag and is likely to be an affordable offering. The budget smartphone market in India is currently ruled by devices from Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo and Realme. It would be interesting to see how LG will challenge the status quo with the W-Series smartphone.
