LG Wing is launching in India on October 28th

Unlike previous years, LG has not launched a flagship phone this year. However, the new strategy has not stopped the brand from experimenting in the smartphone space. Last month, the South Korean company held a global launch event to announce the futuristic LG Wing 5G dual-screen smartphone with a swivelling secondary display.

Today, the company has confirmed that the LG Wing will be launched in India at 11.30am on October 28th.  The press invite has no other information about the LG Wing. Here is all that is known about the smartphone through its global launch

LG Wing 5G launch date for India

The LG Wing dual display smartphone has a 6.8-inch P-OLED FullVision main screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,460 pixels and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a 3.9-inch G-OLED secondary screen that offers 1,080 x 1,240 pixels resolution and a 1.15:1 aspect ratio. The main screen can be rotated clockwise 90 degrees to form a T-shape over the second screen. The LG Wing runs Android 10 with LG’s UI on top.

The Snapdragon 765G is present under the hood of the LG Wing 5G and it comes with up to 8GB of LPPDR4x RAM. The phone offers up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It has a shared SIM slot for adding a microSD card.

The LG Wing has a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. Its back is fitted with a triple camera system that comprises a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 13-megapixel and 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensors. The 4,000mAh battery of the smartphone supports fast charging and wireless charging.

LG Wing price in India

There is no information on the pricing of the LG Wing 5G for India. In the U.S, it is selling for $999 (~Rs 73,600) and it comes in colours like Aurora Gray and Illusion Sky.
