At the beginning of this week, Xiaomi released MIUI 9.5, the brand’s custom ROM that is layered on top of Android on its devices. This rollout will be in phases over the coming weeks. The incremental software update brings about a lot of new features. Together with announcing the update itself, the brand also shed light on which devices will receive the update and the approximate time in which users can expect to see it on their devices.

MIUI 9.5 brings about a couple of new features, enhancements to the productivity apps like Mi  Browser, App lock and several under the hood improvements. With the latest software update, users will be able to see better performance out of their devices and even improved battery life. It is also noteworthy to mention that Xiaomi was the first company, after Apple to provide software update (MIUI 9) to its devices that dated almost four years back.
