Low-Priced Aqua Jazz Smartphone Launched: Large Display and Dual-Cameras

Aqua Mobiles, a company that has been making feature phones has launched a new smartphone called as the Aqua Jazz. This smartphone is priced low and is aimed to compete in the entry-level segment. At Rs. 5,999 the phone packs in some decent features and a good build quality. Let’s have a look at what it has to offer.

Display and Design


On the front side of the phone is where a decent-sized 5-inch HD IPS display is located. Similar to other smartphones in this segment, the company has kept to the basic design with a premium metal finish. On the back, the phone rocks a dual-rear facing camera which is rarely found at this price range. In addition to that is a fingerprint sensor and an LED flash. Speaking about LED flash, the brand has also integrated one at the front of the phone to complement the selfie camera.

Performance, Storage, and Cameras

Underneath its hood, the Aqua Jazz is powered by a MediaTek processor clocked at 1.2Ghz. The phone also packs in 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The smartphone’s storage can be expanded through a microSD card up to 128GB. In the optics department, as mentioned above, the phone features a dual-rear facing camera setup. It comprises of a 13-megapixel sensor and a 0.3-megapixel sensor. Up front, the brand has fitted this smartphone with a 5-megapixel camera. The selfie camera is also coupled with a front facing flash for capturing images in low-light conditions.

Connectivity, Battery, and Additional Features

The latest offering from Aqua offers dual-SIM support and can operate on 2G, 3G, 4G, and VoLTE. The phone also offers support for other conventional connectivity options like WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth. The smartphone draws its power from a 2800mAh Li-ion battery pack located underneath its skin. On the software front, the device is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat.

Out of the box, the device is accompanied by a standard charging brick, a pair of headphones and a tempered glass screen protector. The phone is available through major e-commerce websites and offline retailers.
