LYF F1S Launched In India for Rs 10,099

Reliance has launched the LYF F1S in India and is currently available for purchase. While the naming of the smartphone is similar to the LYF F1, they differ in appearance and performance.


The F1s packs in a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of (1920 x 1080 pixels). It has 2.5D glass on top with Corning Concore 3 protection on top.

The LYF F1S has some really impressive specifications. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 chip and has 3GB of RAM. This is the same processor found in the LeEco Le 2. It is quite powerful and makes the phone good value for money, at least on paper. The phone has a 16-megapixel camera with a dual-LED flash. While on the front it has a 5-megapixel camera with a selfie flash. The phone is capable of 4K video recording which is a neat bonus, given the price of the phone.

The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the UI is quite similar to stock Android. It has 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB. The F1s is a dual SIM device and has a Hybrid SIM slot. The phone accepts two Nano SIM cards or can take one Nano card and a MicroSD card to expand storage.

LYF F1S Camera

The phone supports 4G and VoLTE on both the SIM card slots but can only latch onto one 4G network while the other card is down to 2G. It gets the standard connectivity features like WiFi- Bluetooth 4.1 along with a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing.

The LYF F1S also has gestures that can be used to perform actions and can be customized as well. Like other LYF phones, the F1S also gets 2 years of warranty. The device is currently exclusive to and is available in 3 colours; Gold, Silver, and Black. The LYF F1s is priced at Rs 10,099 making it the cheapest phone with a Snapdragon 652 on-board. New buyers will be offered Rs 500 as cashback when buying the phone, effectively bringing the price down to Rs. 9599.
