LYF Water 3 With Reliance Jio Offer Launched For Rs 6,599

Reliance Retail’s subsidiary LYF has launched a new phone under its Water lineup — LYF Water 3. The phone goes by the model number LS5503 and is available to buy online exclusively from Flipkart for Rs 6,599. The company currently has numerous devices to offer under different lineups such as Earth, Water, Wind, and Flame.


Talking about the specifications of LYF Water 3, it comes with a 5.5-inch (13.9 cm) screen featuring 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution. Under the hood, it’s powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset paired with Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. Memory wise, it features a 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage, expandable up to 32GB using a memory card.

LYF Water 3 is a dual-SIM device with both the SIM slots being 4G enabled. However, at one time only one slot can be registered on 4G network while the other will operate on 2G. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot, hence you don’t need miss out on using two SIM cards and one memory card simultaneously.

LYF Water 3 houses a 13MP rear auto-focus camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP secondary camera for clicking selfies. The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a near-stock Android UI running on top, which is similar to most of the LYF phones we have reviewed so far. (Check our LYF Water 10 review, here).

LYF Water 3 is based on a 3000mAh battery and connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and microUSB 2.0 port. The phone comes bundled with Reliance Jio Happy New Year offer which will offer free data and voice calling till March 31st next year.
