Maamannan, the Kollywood film, is scheduled to release in the theatres in April 2023. A. R. Rahman is at the helm of the film’s music, and it is his first collaboration with Mari Selvaraj. Udhayanidhi Stalin, shortly after being sworn in as a Cabinet Minister ( [DMK] Youth Welfare and Sports Development) in December 2022, announced that Maamannan would be his last film as an actor. The 2023 movie has finalised its OTT platform. Maamannan OTT Release Rights: Where and when to watch it digitally 

The Tamil language film ‘Maamannan’ will arrive on the OTT platform Netflix as a post-theatrical release. The film will stream in four different languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on the platform.

Netflix India South announced that Maamannan would stream on the platform.  They announced it on January 16th 2023, on Kanu Pongal day this year. The streamer is excited about the movie. And they shared, “One look at the cast and crew is enough for you to know that we’re in for a TREAT! 🤩”.  Indeed, with all the lineup Netflix has up its sleeve, the ardent fans and followers of Tamil cinema are in for an absolute treat.

Maamannan — About the film

Mari Selvaraj is the writer and the director of the project. It is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Maamannan is an A. R. Rahman musical. Theni Eswar is at the cinematography helm. And Selva R. K. is the editor. The film features actors Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh and Raveena Ravi. The movie is made under the banner of Red Giant Movies. Maamannan’a principal photography commenced in March 2022.
