Anand Tiwari’s ‘Maja Ma’ will be ace Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit’s second release on the OTT platform. She was earlier seen in Netflix’s acclaimed series ‘The Fame Game.’

Much to their anticipation, Madhuri Dixit will soon be seen in her next OTT release, Maja Ma, a film scheduled to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Details regarding the world premiere of Maja Ma on Amazon Prime Video was announced by the OTT platform on Wednesday, September 15.
Besides Madhuri Dixit, Maja Ma also includes a fabulous cast which includes Gajraj Rao, Barkha Singh, Srishti Shrivastava, Rajit Kapur, Ritwik Bhowmik, Sheeba Chaddha, Simone Singh, and others. Written by Sumit Batheja and directed by Anand Tiwari, Maja Ma will stream on Amazon Prime Video from October 6, 2022.
The story of the film is about a mom from Baroda who questions societal norms thereby becoming a hurdle to her son’s marriage and other related plans. Makers of the film have called the story to be ‘warm and funny’ and are anticipating that fans will love it.

Besides this, the team also released the first song of Maja Ma, Boom Padi. The song was released strategically, keeping the upcoming Navratri in mind, where Garba celebrations will take place on a big scale. The song has been well accepted by the audience and fans have been grooving to the tunes on social media platforms. Boom Padi has been called the song that’s ‘infectious with high energy.’ It has been composed by Souumil Shringarpure and Siddharth Mahadevan and has been sung by the melodious Shreya Ghoshal and the renowned Osman Mir. Priya Saraiya has penned the ‘Garba party song’ of the year.
