Meet the world’s fastest e-scooter with a top speed of 200 kmph

Highlights

  • Austrian electric scooter and bike manufacturer Horwin is staking claim to the world’s fastest e-scooter throne
  • The e-scooter was revealed at the EICMA event in Milan, Italy
  • Known as the Senmenti 0, this e-scooter has a large onboard battery with a range of up to 300km

Electric scooter manufacturer Horwin has taken the wraps off what it claims is the world’s fastest electric scooter. Known as the Senmenti 0, the e-scooter can reportedly go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds, blowing pretty much any other contemporary electric scooter out of the water. Furthermore, the Senmenti 0 reportedly has a top speed of 200 kmph. The Austrian manufacturer is also known for the CR6 electric motorcycle launched in 2019.

Horwin detailed the new Senmenti 0 e-scooter at the recently concluded EICMA event in Milan, Italy. The company hasn’t provided launch-related information about the Senmenti 0, so it’s currently unclear where it will be available. But for now, we’re not holding our breath for Indian availability anytime soon.

Horwin Senmenti 0 features, range

Although the manufacturer did not offer a lot of information on the Senmenti 0’s performance, we learn that it will include dedicated riding modes like Standard, Rainy Day, and Sport. Other features include auto-hold, TPMS, ABS, sentry mode, traction control, keyless operation, an LCD screen, and heated seats suitable for colder weather. In terms of performance, the e-scooter can reportedly deliver an impressive 600Nm of torque.

The Senmenti 0 can run for up to 300km on a single charge, provided it is operating at an average speed of 88 kmph. It uses a 16.2 kWh battery with support for 400V charging, enabling the e-scooter to recharge from zero to 80% in just 30 minutes. Thanks to the mammoth battery onboard, riders can also use it as a power bank when they need to urgently charge up their mobile devices.

Fast electric scooters are certainly new to the market. Keeping this in mind, the Senmenti 0 could have significant potential in European markets. While an India launch is uncertain at the moment, we wouldn’t be surprised if Horwin decides to enter the market given the growing demand for electric scooters in the region.
