Mera Ration is a new app launched by the government of India. It has been designed for the beneficiaries of the programme called One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC). The app will allow people to use the same ration card all over India under the NFSA (National Food Security Act).

What is Mera Ration app?
Mera Ration app lets users conveniently use one Ration Card across India
As mentioned before, the Mera Ration app has been developed by the government of India in collaboration with NIC. It has been designed to make it simpler for the beneficiaries of the National Food Security Act to use a single ration card pan India. Users can check the status of Aadhaar seeding, food grain entitlement, recent transactions and more using the app.

The Mera Ration app comes with support for two languages currently including English and Hindi. However, the app will support up to 14 regional languages in the coming days. Using the app, users can check their registration details, enrollment details, nearby ration shops, previous transactions, eligibility criteria, and AADHAAR seeding.
Additionally, users can also check which states are covered under the One Nation One Ration Card programme. Currently, 32 states and union territories are covered under the program. Delhi, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Assam remain to be covered. The remaining states and UTs will be covered in the coming months.
Lastly, users can also give feedback and suggestions on the Mera Ration mobile application. Currently, the app is available only for Android users. How to use Mera Ration app?
Using the Mera Ration app is pretty easy. Follow the below steps to start using the app.
- Download the Mera Ration app from the Google Play Store link above
- Click on the ‘Registration’ button on the homescreen
- Enter your ration card number and click ‘Submit’
- You can now continue using the features of the Mera Ration app
- Click on ‘Know your entitlement’ to check your benefits
- Click on ‘Nearby Ration Shops’ to display all the nearby fair price shops and get directions on Google Maps
- To change your current location, click on Registration and scroll down to ‘Migration details’

What is the One Nation, One Ration Card scheme?
The One Nation, One Ration Card scheme was introduced by Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan in four states on a pilot basis in 2019. It was intended to help migrants, including urban rag pickers, domestic help, daily wagers, labourers and street dwellers, get access to food grains and other rations under the National Food Security Act.
