Mi 11 Ultra India launch date confirmed

The Mi 11 Ultra smartphone will  launch in India on April 23rd. Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain announced the launch news on his Twitter handle. The brand has also put up a dedicated event page on its official website. However, the launch time is not revealed yet. The event will be livestreamed on the company’s social media handles.

The Mi 11 Ultra had debuted in China recently. The Indian variant is expected to come with the same specifications.

Mi 11 Ultra specifications and features

The Mi 11 Ultra sports a 6.81-inch sAMOLED curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a QHD+ display resolution. There is also a small secondary screen on the back panel’s camera module. The smartphone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner and Harman Kardon stereo speakers. It comes with IP68 water and dust resistant rating. 

The Mi 11 Ultra features triple rear cameras comprising of a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 48MP telephoto periscope unit with 120x zoom support. The device comes with a 20MP front-facing camera. 

The Mi 11 Ultra is powered by a flagship Snapdragon 888 processor. It packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB onboard storage. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 67W wired and wireless charging. Connectivity options on the Mi 11 Ultra include 5G, USB-C port, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-frequency GPS and IR Blaster.
