Mi 67W charger with Quick Charge 3.0 to launch in India on July 12th

Mi 67W charger is set to launch in India on June 12th. The company teased the arrival of the device on its Twitter handle. Additionally, Xiaomi has also put up a dedicated microsite for the upcoming accessory. It reveals a few key features of the device.

Xiaomi says that the Mi 67W charger will be capable of charging multiple devices including headphones, Mi Band, smartphones, laptops and Type-C compatible devices. The upcoming device is touted to be Xiaomi’s powerful charger yet. 

Mi 67W charger to launch in India on July 12th

As the name suggests, the Mi 67W charger will support a maximum charging speed of 67W. Xiaomi says that it features a small compact design with a two-prong plug, and as per the Twitter teaser video it will ship in White colour. The charger seems to have a single USB-A port. The device is equipped with built-in surge protection and is also BIS-certified. 

The Mi 67W charger will feature Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. It will ship with a bundled USB-A to USB-C cable.

As per previous reports, Xiaomi was working on a 67W fast charger and it was supposed to ship with the Mi 11 Ultra (review) that supports the same speed. However, due to certification constraints, the smartphone shipped with a bundled 55W charger. Now, the Mi 67W fast charger will finally be available for purchase as a separate accessory.
