Mi Air Purifier 2C launched in India for Rs 6,499

Xiaomi had an event in India today to introduce its latest Redmi Note series phones – the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Apart from the new smartphones, the Chinese electronics giant has also launched its newest air purifier in the country called the Mi Air Purifier 2C. The device has arrived as the company’s most affordable air purifier in India. The Mi Air Purifier 2C will sit below the Mi Air Purifier 2S, which was launched in the country in September last year. Just like the latter, the former also lets you change the air filter of the purifier by yourself.

The Mi Air Purifier 2C is 99.97 percent efficient in clearing the air in your room. The device’s true HEPA filter is capable of capturing minuscule particulates like dust, mold spores, pollen, bacteria, viruses, and other allergens as small as 0.3 microns. The smart home accessory is capable of taking 360-degree of air intake with a two-layer filtration. The brand claims that the Mi Air Purifier 2C can clean the air in a room with an area of 425sq.ft in just 10 minutes thanks to air suction with CADR of 350m3/h.

Mi Air Purifier 2C can filter 99.97 percent indoor pollution

The Mi Air Purifier 2C features an infrared sensor to measure the pollution levels inside your home, which makes it easy to monitor your household conditions. The device features a tower-like design, which has more than 1,000 holes to suck the air. The brand claims that it only takes 10 seconds to change the air filter of the accessory, thanks to one-button control operation. Dimensions of the new Mi Air Purifier 2C include 240 x 240 x 520mm, and it weighs approximately 4.1 hours.

The Mi Air Purifier 2C has been priced in India competitively at just Rs 6,499. The device will be available on Mi.com starting October 16th and from Amazon, Flipkart, and Mi Home stores starting from October 18th.
