The Mi Boost Pro Power Bank by Xiaomi with 30,000mAh capacity has launched in India. It is the largest capacity power bank from the brand. Some of the key features offered by the power bank include four ports, the ability to charge 3 devices simultaneously, 18W fast charging, and USB PD 3.0 support.

It is now available at a special price through Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform. The company has set a crowdfunding goal of 5,000 units in 15 days for it. At the time of writing this post, the campaign was fund by nearly 1,250 people. The shipments of the power bank will begin on May 15.

The M Boost Pro Power Bank can be charged at maximum speeds of 24W through USB PD 3.0. The company claims that it takes up to 7.5 hours to fully charge the power bank. When it comes to ports, it offers two USB Type-A ports with output support, one USB Type-C port with input and output support, and one microUSB port with input only support. Hence, the power bank can charge as many as three devices simultaneously.

The power bank can charge devices at a peak speed of 18W. However, it is not clear whether all three devices will be charged at 18W when they are charged simultaneously. It supports charging rates such as 5V/2A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A.

The low-power charging feature of the power bank can be used to juice up low-power devices like fitness trackers, smartwatches, and TWS earbuds. Users can enter the 2-hour low charging mode by double-pressing the power button.

The device includes high-density lithium polymer batteries with a total capacity of 111Wh. The company claims that the 16-layer advanced chip protection of the power bank protects mobile devices from issues like overheating, over current and short circuits. The device measures 38.9mm in thickness and weighs 640 grams. The retail package of the device will include a microUSB cable.

The Mi Boost Pro Power Bank is priced at Rs 1,999 during the crowdfunding period. After March 15th, it is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 3,499. It comes in a single Black colour only.
