Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 with 9th Gen Intel Core processors launched, prices start at CNY 7,499

Xiaomi had launched its first gaming-oriented laptop in March last year. Today, the company has launched the 2019 edition of the Mi Gaming laptop. The laptop comes with upgraded internals and is offered in three configurations with respect to hardware. Let’s take a look:

Technical Specifications:

There is not much difference between last year’s Mi Gaming laptop and the latest 2019 edition as far as the overall design is concerned. The new model sports the same 15.6-inch display bearing FHD resolution. The laptop boasts the same 81 percent screen-to-body ratio surrounded by slim bezels. The display offers 72 percent colour gamut and supports a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth gameplay. The Mi Gaming laptop flaunts an aluminium chassis and a four-colour RGB LED-backlit keyboard. 

On the hardware front, the Mi Gaming laptop 2019 can be configured with to 9th gen Core i7 processors. In terms of graphics, buyers get the option to choose between GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or RTXTM 2060 GPU. The laptop packs up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and offers 512GB storage in form of PCIe SSD. The Mi Gaming laptop 2019 draws its power from a 55Whr battery that promises to provide 4.5 hours of video playback, 4 hours of video streaming, and 4.5 hours of web browsing. The laptop runs Windows 10 Home OS out of the box. 

The Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 features a dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x 3W speakers, Dolby Audio, and a 1MP HD webcam. Connectivity-wise, the laptop comes with four USB 3.0 ports, an Ethernet port, a microphone port, headphone jack, HDMI out, and a 3-in-1 card reader. 

Pricing & Availability:

The base configuration of Mi Gaming laptop 2019 with Core i5/ GTX 1660 Ti/ 8GB RAM/ 512GB SSD is priced at Yuan 7,499 (~Rs 76,000). The model with Core i7/ GTX 1660 Ti/ 16GB RAM will cost Yuan 8,599 (~Rs 87,300). The top-end model with Core i7 and GeForce RTXTM 2060 carries a price tag of Yuan 8,999 (~Rs 91,500).
