Xiaomi India is running a new poll for upcoming Mi Notebooks, which indicates that the company could be planning to launch new laptops soon in the country. This appears to be in line with reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal’s recent tweet that claimed that the new Mi Notebooks will debuting soon in India.
Xiaomi entered the laptop market in India last year by launching the Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook 14 Horizon (review) in June. Later, it announced the Mi Notebook 14 e-Learning Edition and it unveiled the Mi Notebook 14 IC at the beginning of this year. These laptops are fueled by 10th generation Intel Core CPUs.

The above tweet suggests that the upcoming Mi Notebook will be a productivity-oriented model. The company has provided three options in the poll and has asked users to select the desired model. The first option features an 11th generation Intel processor with 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 256GB SSD, and a USB Type-C port.
The second option has a 10th generation Intel CPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and Thunderbolt 3. The last option has an 11th generation Intel CPU, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and Thunderbolt 4. At the time of writing this post, the first model was found to be most popular with as 53.8 percent people voted for it, followed by the third model with 28.3 percent votes. The second variant with a 10th-gen processor received 18.4 percent of the votes.
Mi Notebook Pro 14, Pro 15 specifications and features
Earlier this year, Xiaomi launched Mi Notebook Pro 14 and Mi Notebook Pro 15 in China. The former has a 14-inch IPS LCD 120Hz display with a 2.5K resolution, while the latter has a 15.6-inch OLED 60Hz display with a 3.5K resolution.
They are powered 11th gen Intel Core i5/i17 CPU, Nvidia GeForce MX450/ Intel Iris XE GPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB SSDa. The Mi Notebook Pro 14 has a 66Wh battery, whereas the Pro 15 has a 56Wh battery. Both laptops support 100W fast charging and offer other features like an HD webcam, stereo speakers, a pair of USB Type-C ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1. It is unclear whether Xiaomi will be launching the Mi Notebook Pro models in India.
In related news, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is also expected to launch a new phone this month. The recently released teasers suggest that it may soon launch the Redmi Note 10T 5G as the company’s first 5G-ready Redmi phone for India.
