The Mi Power Bank Hypersonic 20000mAh (50W) has been launched in India. The company has confirmed that it will be available through its Mi Crowdfunding platform from July 30th. Apart from fast charging smartphones, it can be also used for powering laptops.
Earlier in April, the Mi Boost Pro Power Bank with a 30,000mAh battery was made available through crowdfunding for Rs 1,999. After its successful crowdfunding campaign, it was made available with an increased price tag of Rs 2,499. Hence, it is likely that the Mi Power Bank Hypersonic 20000mAh will become more expensive after the crowdfunding period is complete.
Mi Power Bank Hypersonic 20000mAh (50W) features
The Mi Power Bank Hypersonic has three ports such as a pair of USB Type-A ports and a USB Type-C port. It includes a massive 20,000mAh battery, which can be charged at 45W. The powerbank can be fully topped up in 3 hours 50 minutes. It comes with several layers of chip protection to safeguard itself and charging devices from short circuits, high temperatures and more.
When it comes to charging devices, the Mi Power Bank Hypersonic can power up smartphones at maximum charging speeds of 50W and it can charge laptops at up to 45W. As per Xiaomi, it can completely charge a smartphone with a 4,500mAh battery in around 65 minutes. The power bank also carries support for USB-PD 3.0 charging standards. It also features a low-power mode to charge devices like Bluetooth earphones, fitness bands and more, which can be activated by double-tapping the power button.
In terms of design, the Mi Power Bank Hypersonic does not look too different from other power banks from the brand. However, it does sport a matte finish and is constructed out of high quality plastic and ABS.

The Mi Power Bank Hypersonic 20000mAh (50W) is priced at Rs 3,499. It will be available on Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform starting July 30th. If the campaign meets its crowdfunding goal, the company may make it available for purchase on its website at a slightly higher price.
