Xiaomi’s Mi Band 4 has just been launched in India at an event today alongside a few TVs and a water purifier. Originally introduced in China in June this year, the Chinese tech giant’s latest smart fitness tracker features a few upgrades over its predecessor. While the Mi Band 3 arrived with a black and white OLED screen, the Mi Band 4 sports a much-anticipated colour display. Also, the new wearable from the brand also features improved fitness tracking capabilities.
Mi Band 4 specifications and features
The Mi Smart Band 4 sports a 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen that’s 39.9 percent bigger than the one found on the Mi Band 3. The display of the fitness tracker lets you control the music, volume, check notifications, reject calls and more. The wearable’s screen unlimited watch faces. In the fitness department, the device is capable of tracking your heart rate, and offers features like step counting and sleep monitoring. The accessory is also able to detect different swimming activities such as Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly Stroke, and Medley.
As for the other features, the Mi Band 4 sports 5ATM water-resistance. The wearable is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. The accessory is capable of providing 20 days of battery life on a single charge with moderate usage.
Mi Band 4 price in India
Xiaomi has priced the Mi Smart Band 4 competitively at Rs 2,299, which makes it one of the most affordable fitness trackers in the country. The wearable will be available on Mi.com, Amazon, and in Mi Home stores across the country starting from September 19th.
