The Mi Smarter Living 2022 launch event will be held soon. Last year, Xiaomi announced several devices such as Mi Watch Revolve, Mi Band 5, Mi Smart Purifier, Mi TV 4X, MI Smart Speaker, Mi soap dispenser, and Mi Home Security Camera 360 through Smarter Living launch event in September 2020. Hence, it is likely that the company may hold the Smarter Living 2022 event in September.

The upcoming Xiaomi event could see the arrival of several devices. Some of these include Mi Notebook Pro 15, Mi Band 6, and other IoT products. Earlier this week, Xiaomi announced the Mi MIX 4 and Mi Pad 5 series of tablets in China. While there is no word on the availability of the Mi MIX 4 outside China, the company may announce the Mi Pad 5 series in India through the Smarter Living 2022 event.

Xiaomi Smarter Living 2022 event: what to expect

Xiaomi is likely to confirm the date of the Smarter Living 2022 event in the coming days. It is also expected to release a couple of teasers to reveal what to expect from the event. The following products may get announced through the Smarter Living 2022 event.

Mi Notebooks

Yesterday, Xiaomi India’s Chief Business Officer Raghu Reddy teased a new Mi Notebook with a backlit keyboard. A recent report claimed that the company is working on Mi Notebook Pro 14 and Mi Notebook Ultra 15.6 models for India. The 14-inch model may feature a 120Hz LCD panel, whereas the 15.6 variant may feature a 60Hz OLED panel with a 3.5K resolution. These models are expected to feature 11th generation Core i7 and Core i5 processors, up to 32GB RAM, up to 1TB of SSD storage, and long battery life.

Mi Band 6

Announced back in March in China, the Mi Band 6 fitness band features a 1.56-inch AMOLED display, health sensors like SpO2 and heart rate tracker, 125mAh battery, and 5ATM water resistance. It was announced in China with a price tag of RMB 230 (~Rs 2,600).

Mi Sound Smart Speaker

At the Mi MIX 4 launch event, the company unveiled a new smart speaker called Xiaomi Sound. The compact speaker offers enhanced bass and a 360-degree surround sound experience, as well as connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and UWB.

Mi Pad 5 series

The Mi Pad 5 series has recently received Google Play Console certification, which indicates that it could be heading to global markets including India. The lineup includes Snapdragon 860 powered Mi Pad 5 and the Snapdragon 870 powered MI Pad 5 Pro (Wi-Fi only), and Mi Pad Pro 5G. Both tablets have an 11-inch 120Hz LCD panel, up to 50-megapixel dual cameras, and big batteries with up to 67W fast charging.
