Xiaomi Mi TV 5X has launched in India today. It has launched alongside a host of other products including Mi Smart Band 6, Mi Router 4A Gigabit edition, Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro and new Mi Notebooks at the brand’s Mi Smarter Living event.
The Mi TV 5X is a premium offering from Xiaomi and it packs flagship specifications. It arrives as the successor to the Mi TV 4X that had debuted back in 2019. Read on to know what the television offers out of the box.
Xiaomi Mi TV 5X specifications and features
The Mi TV 5X is offered in three screen sizes – 43, 50, and 55-inches. All three variants feature a bezel-less display bearing a 4K resolution with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG. The TVs come with a 94 percent DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, vivid picture engine, and smart adaptive brightness. The Mi TV 5X comes with a metallic stand and carbon fiber rear finish.
On the audio front, all three televisions are equipped with dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS: HD. The 50 and 55-inch variants are capable of producing a 40W sound output while the 43-inch model maxes out at 30W. The TVs also feature far-field microphones for accessing Google Assistant hands-free.
Under the hood, the Mi TV 5X is powered by a 64-bit quad-core A55 CPU coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage. It comes with a built-in Google Assistant and Chromecast. The televisions run on Android 10 with Xiaomi’s latest PatchWall 4 UI on the top. The latter offers various features including an IMDb integration, universal search, kids mode, smart recommendations, and more. The TV also offers a Quick Wake feature that is capable of switching on the TV in less than 5 seconds.
On the connectivity front, the Mi TV 5X comes with three HDMI 2.1 ports, eARC, two USB ports, Ethernet port, 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band WiFi.
Mi TV 5X price in India
The Mi TV 5X starts at Rs 31,999 for the base 43-inch variant. The 50 and 55-inch models carry a price tag of Rs 41,999 and Rs 47,999 respectively. The television will be available for purchase from September 7th, 12 noon from Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home Studio, and Croma. Interested buyers can avail Rs 3,000 instant discount on HDFC Bank credit card and EMI transactions. There is also no-cost EMI offers up to 9 months on leading banks and NBFCs.
