- Xiaomi’s new Mi TWS earphones have bagged WPC certification
- The WPC listing has revealed its wireless charging speeds and design
- The model number suggests that it may succeed the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic
Xiaomi’s new Mi TWS earphones with model number TWSEJ10WM have been spotted at the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) certification site. The listing has revealed the design of the new earphones, as well as support for up to 1.5W wireless charging.
The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic have the model number TWSEJ08WM. Since the new earbuds have a similar model number, it appears that they could be arriving soon as the successor to the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic, possibly as the Mi True Wireless Earphones 3 Basic.
The image accompanying the WPC listing reveals the earphones in a black colour. The charging case of the device seems to feature an LED indicator. Unlike the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic, the TWSEJ10WM feature a vertically-opening case and in-ear style earbuds with silicone tips.
Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic specifications and features
The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic come with 14.2mm drivers. They feature dual-mic ENC for clearer voice calls. They come with touch controls for accessing functions like answering/rejecting calls, activating voice assistant, play/pause, and changing tracks. The earphones offer up to 20 days of battery life and come with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic were announced in October 2020. Hence, it’s likely that the Mi TWSEJ10WM earphones could go official in the next few months.
