Micromax has introduced its first ever Google Certified Android Television in India. The newly announced 49-inch and 55-inch UHD TVs carry support for HDR 10 technology to deliver superior viewing experience. Since both TVs have been certified by Google and run Android Oreo OS, consumers can use the Play Store to download their favorite apps, games, music and movies.
HDR enhances the contrast ratio of the display by offering the highest difference between the brightest and darkest colors produced by it. Hence, images on the HDR 10 complaint TVs appear more vivid and realistic.
The Google Certified Micromax Android TVs are also equipped with inbuilt Chromecast and Google Assistant. The new Micromax TVs are fueled by å Cortex A53 quad-core processor and 2.5 GB of DDR RAM. These televisions also feature an internal eMMC storage of 16 GB.
For delivering impressive audio experience, the Google-Certified Android TVs by Micromax include a pair of 12W speakers. Moreover, both televisions have DOLBY and DTS approved Pure Sound technology. The connectivity options available on these TVs include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Lastly, since they are Eco Energy efficient devices, they consume less power.
Micromax’s 49-inch Google Certified Android TV is priced at Rs. 51,990. Its 55-inch variant costs Rs. 61,990. Both televisions will be available for buying in stores pan India from this month.
