Micromax IN 1B

The Micromax IN 1B is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery

All three smartphones in contention here are powered by the budget gaming-centric processor from MediaTek, the Helio G35.  This is a 12nm octa-core unit with a 2.3GHz clock speed. This means that the matter comes down to the configurations being offered and software.

The Realme C11 is the only smartphone among the three which comes in a single configuration with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. The Micromax In 1B comes in 2GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB configurations. The Redmi 9 shines here with 4GB RAM across both variants with 64GB or 128GB storage.

In the software department, the Micromax In 1B features stock Android 10 with an assured two years of updates. The Realme C11 and Redmi 9 also boot Android 10 out of the box but with Realme UI and MIUI 12 on top, respectively.

Micromax In 1B vs Realme C11 vs Redmi 9: bottomline

The Micromax In 1B is a good comeback device by the local brand and offers features like 8-megapixel selfie camera, stock Android and USB Type-C. It misses out on the protective layer in the display department and a higher 4GB + 128GB configuration in the performance section, but those are not deal-breakers. And the fact remains that the brand is offering a 4GB + 64GB variant for Rs 1,000 less compared to the Redmi 9. Therefore, if you are in the market for an affordable smartphone with good performance, decent cameras, stock Android 10 and good battery, Micromax In 1B checks all those boxes.
