Micromax IN 1b specifications and price
The IN 1b is the most affordable of the two devices launched by Micromax in India. The smartphone is Micromax’s attempt to challenge the status quo of Xiaomi, Realme and Samsung in the country. The smartphone aims to find a balance between hardware and design in the entry-level price segment.
The Micromax IN 1b comes in three colours – Blue, Purple and Green. It has a dual-tone finish on the back with the camera array being finished in a matte color with IN branding at the bottom. There is a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. It uses a mini-drop notch design with 8-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera.
On the back, there is a dual rear camera setup. The main camera uses a 13-megapixel sensor while the secondary 2-megapixel lens captures depth. Micromax claims the main camera also supports Night Mode. Under the hood, you will find a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset.
Micromax is making an interesting choice with the storage option of this device. The base model comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and is priced at Rs 6,999. The step up model offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and is priced at Rs 7,999. With a price difference of just Rs 1,000, Micromax is clearly focusing on the 4GB RAM variant here.
