Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax has launched its latest entry-level device in the country. The device is dubbed as the Spark Go and is an Android Go device. Let’s take a look at what the Spark Go offers out of the box:
The Micromax Spark Go sports a 5-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and a 16:9 aspect ratio screen. The device features a 5MP rear camera with flash. Up front, there is a 2MP shooter with LED flash for clicking selfies in low light.
Coming to the hardware, the Spark Go is powered by a quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. For storing data, this handset offers 8GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via dedicated microSD card slot. As the Spark Go is an Android Go edition smartphone, it runs sAndroid Oreo out of the box. Google has confirmed that Android Go smartphones running on Oreo will be updated to Android Pie by the end of this year.
The Micromax Spark Go is backed by a 2,000mAh battery unit. It is a dual-SIM smartphone and offers VoLTE connectivity. Other options include a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth.
Pricing & Availability:
The Micromax Spark Go is a Flipkart exclusive and will go on open sale starting today i.e. October 26th. The device will be available in Rose Gold and Silver color options, and is priced at Rs 3,999. Micromax has also partnered with Reliance Jio, so customers buying the device will get 25GB of 4G data. Buyers can also avail 5GB additional data on recharges of Rs 198/Rs 299, on a maximum of five recharges.
