Microsoft Launches A Nokia 216 Dual SIM Feature Phone For Rs 2,495

Microsoft has launched new Nokia mobile phones – Nokia 216 and Nokia 216 Dual for Indian customers. The Nokia 216 is a single SIM phone while the Nokia 216 Dual is a dual SIM phone. This release was quite out of the blue keeping the current developments regarding Nokia and Microsoft in the mind. Back in the month of May, Microsoft had licensed the Nokia brand to HMD Global, thus giving rights to HMD to make Nokia branded phones.

These phones offers a 0.3 MP camera with LED flash at the back and a 0.3MP front camera with selfie flash. They also feature FM Radio, MP3 & Video Player and Bluetooth Audio support (A2DP). The device body is made of poly-carbonate and sports a 2.4-Inch QVGA glance screen. The phone has a 1020mAh removable battery which offers 19 days of standby time and supports 18 hours of continuous voice calling and 47 hours of music playback.

The phone can store up to 2000 contacts and users can also download apps and games from Opera Mobile Store. The phone is available in three colors – cyan, silver and black and will be on sale in India for Rs 2,495 starting October 24.
