The device was introduced as the cheaper edition of the Surface Laptop 3 in the U.S. Today, the company announced the Surface Laptop Go in India with a starting price of Rs 63,999. It will be available in commercial as well as consumer SKUs.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go is fitted with a 12.4-inch PixelSense Display that offers a resolution of 1,536 x 1,024 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2. As far as the design of the Surface Laptop Go is concerned, it has an aluminium lid and its base made up of a polycarbonate composite resin system with glass fibre. It weighs around 1.1kg and has a slim profile of 15.69mm.
The 10th generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor fuels the Surface Laptop Go with up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The processor is coupled with UHD Graphics by Intel. The notebook comes with 64GB eMMC storage and SSD options like 128GB and 256GB.
The Surface Laptop Go boots to Windows 10 Home Edition, which tags along 30-day trial version of the Microsoft 365 Family. For security, it carries support for Windows Hello and a fingerprint reader, which is embedded in the fingerprint scanner. Despite having a compact construction, the Laptop Go features a full-sized keyboard and a large-sized precision trackpad.
The Laptop Go can offer a battery life of up to 13 hours on a single charge. It comes with a 39W power adaptor. On the connectivity front, it offers options like Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, a USB Type-A port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Surface Connect port. Its other features include an HD webcam, a pair of far-field studio microphones, omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio support, and ambient light sensor.

The Surface Laptop Go comes in commercial SKUs such as 4GB RAM + 64 GB eMMC for Rs 63,999, 8GB RAM + 128GB SSD for Rs 76,199, 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD for Rs 92,999, and 16GB RAM + 256GB SSD for Rs 1,10,999.
The consumer SKUs of the Surface Laptop Go for India are 8GB RAM + 128GB SSD and 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD. They are priced at Rs 71,999 and Rs 91,999, respectively. Online retailers such as Reliance Digital and Amazon India along with commercial authorised resellers and retailers will begin the sales of the Laptop Go starting from January 22nd.
