American consumer electronics company Misfit has expanded its wearable range with its first hybrid smartwatch, Misfit Phase. It’s an analog smartwatch which doubles up as a fitness tracker as well as a basic smartwatch.
Design wise, the Misfit Phase looks similar to the company’s other fitness trackers. It flaunts a sleek design and an aluminum finish that comes with either a silicone or leather strap. The Misfit Phase hybrid smartwatch comes with an ability to track steps, distance, calories burnt, and sleep. In addition to this, it also offers basic smartphone notifications for text, call, apps, alarms, and reminders.
It’s waterproof up to 50 meters and comes with an impressive 6-month battery capacity. It can also help users to control music, camera and more, something which is also possible on Misfit Ray and Shine activity trackers. The Misfit Phase comes in black, white, silver, navy, yellow gold, and rose gold color variants. The smartwatch will be available in the US starting November 6th for $175 (approx. Rs 11,600) with a silicone strap and $195 (approx. Rs 12,990) for the leather strap variant.
To recall, the Mistfit Phase is a mix of both the wearable segments — smartwatch and fitness tracker. In other news, Apple Watch Series 2 Nike+ Edition will soon be available to in India starting October 28th. However, its price starts at Rs. 32,900 for the 38mm variant as well as Rs. 34,900 for the bigger 42mm variant.
