MIUI 14 changelog has been leaked online. Tipster Kacper Skrzypek shared an image on Twitter of the changelog that reveals new features and improvements of the brand’s upcoming proprietary UI. 

The MIUI 14 was originally set to be announced on December 1st alongside the Xiaomi 13 series. However, due to unknown reasons, the company postponed the event, The revised date is yet to be announced, but rumours suggest that it will now take place on December 7.

MIUI 14 features leaked ahead of the announcement

MIUI is Xiaomi’s proprietary UI. The upcoming MIUI 14 will be based on the latest Android 13 OS version. The new version will introduce many personalisation features and improvements. 

The changelog reveals that the MIUI 14 will be lightweight, consume less storage and will be far more responsive. The system architecture is said to be improved to boost the performance of both pre-installed and third-party apps. MIUI 14 will also offer end-to-end privacy with data stored locally on the device. Xiaomi is also improving the interconnectivity among devices between phones, tablets, earphones, and TV. The Mi Smart Hub will be significantly revamped. 

The leaked changelog states that the MIUI 14 will come with more personalisation options and new widget formats to allow more customisations. It will come with home screen super icons and the ability to copy texts in images. The upcoming UI version will introduce new family-sharing features like sharing photo albums and health data. The Mi UI voice assistant will also be updated and can perform complicated tasks, help with translations, and more.
